Character Design
To capture that specific flat 2D "Jazz" aesthetic, we move toward the Mid-Century Modern (MCM) illustration style. This look is defined by geometric shapes, minimal shading, and a rhythmic, almost musical flow to the lines.
Key influences for this "chic animation" style include:
UPA Animation (United Productions of America): Think of the stylized, flat backgrounds and sharp character designs of the 50s and 60s.
